I’m so excited to share these awesome boxed invitations with you. Kristen and Tab came to me in search of an invitation that would make an impression on their guests. Kristen specifically asked for something that would make their guests feel like they were opening a present with lots of “layers”. This elegant and beautiful invitation was the design we created for this wonderful couple. I’m so glad we can make their dream come true! I know their wedding will be nothing short of spectacular! Enjoy!

Boxes and Bows
Kristin & Brian :: Part 2
I had to post a second time about Kristin & Brian’s wedding in Key Biscayne on May 29th, because Kristin sent me two CDs full of photos from the big day and there were more great shots that just needed to be shared. Thanks so much to Kristin for sending them to us and special thanks to her photographers from the big day: Bella Pictures and Hunter Messineo. Enjoy!

Real Wedding :: Kristin & Brian :: May 29, 2010
I’m so excited to share these pictures! Krisitin and Brian were married on May 29, 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne, Florida. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kristin for over a year on the stationery designs for her wedding. From the save the date to the custom Key Biscayne lighthouse sketch to all of her day of accessories and I really enjoyed getting to be a little part of Kristin and Brian’s big day!
Kristin just sent me these pictures this week and her photographer was nice enough to take pictures of our whole ensemble of work. And, there are some great pics of the happy couple and her bridesmaids on the wedding day. Enjoy!
Baltimore Bridal Show :: 08.01.10
The Baltimore Bridal Show was yesterday and we had a great time! There was such a wonderful turnout of brides, grooms, friends and families. So much so, that I think there was a stretch of two hours or more that Allie and I were talking non-stop to brides…and loving every minute of it! We switched up our booth slightly this time and brought lots of samples to display on our side tables — which was a hit with the brides.
Also, special thanks to Intrigue Designs & Decor for designing some beautiful floral arrangements for our booth. We in turn, provided place cards and menus for their ultra modern grey and silver tablescape. Very cool!
Lots of pictures of our booth and our paper designs on Intrigue’s tablescape are below. Enjoy!!

Back on TV Again!
Today I had another exciting adventure on TV! WBFF Fox 45 Morning News invited me back for an interview about our wedding invitations and stationery. I was honored to be asked back for a third time…such a wonderful opportunity to share my designs and promote the upcoming Baltimore Bridal Show.
So, it was another early morning for me…at 5:45am, I headed to my studio in Annapolis to meet up with Ginger Grigsby. Ginger is my aesthetician and since I trust her with all things having to do with my face…I called her to do my make up! She made me look absolutely beautiful…complete with full faux eyelashes and all!
Then, Tom (my hubby and chauffeur) and I hopped in the car for the ride up to “TV Hill” in Baltimore. After a short wait in the lobby, I was taken back to the studio and during a commercial break, set up my samples, put on a microphone and was ready to roll by 8:48am! Patrice Harris and I said our “hello again’s” and off we went for a whirlwind few minutes of fun. By 9am we were back on the road and my 5 minutes of fame were just a shadow in the rear view mirror.
Although the days leading up to these appearances are stressful, I have to admit, they are just a wonderful opportunity for me and Allison Barnhill Designs. But, I admit, sleeping in until 7am tomorrow, sounds pretty good to me right now! Enjoy the pictures below. I hope to have the footage up on YouTube soon!
