Some of you might remember Jessica and Greg’s beautiful save the date, which included their “magazine worthy” engagement photo. Well, I was so excited to work on their invitations. Using their pretty moss and sand color scheme, this natural feeling invitation was accented with a delicate swirl detail along the bottom edge of the monogram tag and invite panel. Check out the cute titles for their insert cards too! Enjoy!

Sandy Swirls
Nod to the Tropics
Well, it is hot and humid in Annapolis…must be summer! So, in honor of the tropical day outside, here are two invitations that have a tropical flair. The first is a beautiful raspberry pocket with wicked cardstock backing (love that name for a shade of green) and finished with a jungle green ribbon…complete with palm tree! The second invite has a beautiful watermelon and orange color scheme that is topped off with hibiscus artwork. So, that is my nod to the tropics…now, go grab your towel and head to the pool…enjoy!

Sublime Starfish
Okay, I am in love with jungle green and navajo…together! Take a look at this pretty pocket invite for Amber and Nicholas. When Amber and her mom came to meet with me, Amber brought these two tiny pieces of green and blue material, so we could match them to her invite. After a few options, we decided that jungle green ribbon and navajo cardstock were the perfect matches. She loved our popular starfish pocket and especially the sand color, so I was off and running with this great design. Throw in an olivine Swarovski crystal on top and you have the perfect summer invitation. Love, sweet love…enjoy!

Elegant Touch
When Whitney and Marcos came to meet with me a few months ago, they stumbled up on an invitation on one our display shelves and said, “this is it!”. They wanted an elegant invitation with just a touch of Asian influence. The cherry blossoms on this invite was the perfect “touch”. We switched up the colors from purples (in the example they saw) to the red, graphite and black shown below. I really love how this all came together and it just shows that sometimes you know what you want when you see it! Enjoy!

Brocade and Blue
Loving this pocket for Kristel and Steven!! The black pocket is accented with a brocade patterned cardstock. This pattern which would work for a damask inspired wedding too is printed on a white pearl cardstock, so it really is a beautiful look. The invite panel is attached to the pocket with hand crafted satin ribbon corners. And, the rhinestone on the front monogram tag just completes the invite. Enjoy!
