I was so excited to get these great photos from Nancy and Kyle’s engagement party which was held at OGLE Hall at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. In addition to creating their invitations for this evening, we were asked by Michele at Michele Damon Events to create a surprise menu design and some really great place cards that were placed in corks…wait until you see the pic. Ahh…love it! In addition to Michele and her team, I wanted to recognize Wicked Willow for the phenomenal florals…can anyone tell me the flowers/branches that are on the table? And, also special thanks to this photographer Jonathan Hanson Weddings for taking the awesome shots. Enjoy!

Retro Rings
I’m so excited about this invitation…and this couple. I met Adrienne and Melvin at the Baltimore Bridal Show in February. They were actually one of our $100 door prize winners. When Adrienne saw their winning number at our booth she was so excited that she started jumping up and down in the aisle. She called for Melvin, who rounded the corner and promptly launched into how excited they were to design their invitations with me. How cool is that!?!? Loved meeting with them too! I adore their 50’s retro theme…music, vinyl records and fun. Their invitation is just as fun…raspberry, orange and turquoise…the colors even adorned Adrienne’s wedding binder. And, I really love how the dot design adds such a retro and mod touch to an otherwise classic and simple invitation. Hope you enjoy it too!

Very Vineyard
A classic design gets an update with Natasha and Daniel’s vineyard themed pocketfold invitation. This pretty invite has a classic sand colored pocket with spring moss accents. I love the simple, but elegant grape bunch design. The same look is printed inside the invite too. Natasha sent me a wonderful and sweet email today and I thought it was the perfect time to blog about their invite. “I just wanted to let you know that we received the invitations and they are absolutely gorgeous- thank you so much- they came out perfect and I couldn’t be happier with them!” We can’t wait to work on their day of accessories! The Compass Club
We had two brides choose a very similar (and popular) design for their invitations…and they were delivered during the same week too! So, Erin and Lindsay are brides in the Compass Club. There were a few variations between the two invitations, which highlights why having a custom stationery designer is so great! You can make the invitation design unique to you and your wedding day!
Erin’s invitation has a navy backing with ivory top layer and rope tie. Lindsay chose to use a panel with a pocket on the back for her insert cards and she had a white pearl top. We also added the coordinates of the Annapolis Yacht Club below the compass and tied it with the same nautical rope knot. Enjoy!
